The Holidays this year have been tremendous. This is not to say that the last years have not, but this is the 1st Christmas in at least 8 years that I have been able to spend time with the family I work so hard for. Those nights of wearing my "browns" (not the team...the UPS driver uniform) and delivering out of a UPS truck, Ryder rental van, my truck, whatever....are long gone. Don't mis-interpret, I am where I am due to my years and experiences at UPS...I will always be proud to have spent such formideable years there. We'll just say I am very happy to be at Rockwell. I love my job and the culture. The economy has slowed us down a bit, but Rockwell's cash holding's are very strong and I plan to be here for a good long while.
But I digress..... I am going to post some photos of this, but Ninah had her Holiday concert 2 weeks ago and Rania & I got teary-eyed just watching her. I still get these moments of "I am a parent???!!" I still remember when I was in those concerts and my family was watching. I know all the parents reading this are probably thinking "just think how I feel?"
The girls had a wonderful Christmas. I am pretty certain that Santa brought everything they could want. Everyone was so generous with gifts, fun, food & drink! Ninah & Cia woke up pretty early on x-mas but Elijah slept in until nearly noon...what a bum. For those of you who have not met Eli yet, he is a very happy fella, smiles a ton, lots of hair, and the girls love him. Rania & I are very thankful. I think we are all set with the Johnson 5.
So, we are trying to recover from our first Christmas in our new house, cleaning, partying, cleaning, and repeat. The weather has been totally bizarre. I have been running each day outside with temperatures ranging from -10 degrees (w/wind chill) below zero to 57 degrees..... Well, I will add the photos later from the last couple of weeks. If I don't make it until after the new year, WE WISH YOU ALL A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! -z

Here we are with a few events....Elijah was baptised 2 weeks ago at the Divine Word Catholic Church. Father Dave performed the ceremony and it was a crazy snowy day. A few close calls, a fender bender or two and the event was on it's way (no one was hurt).
Eli was smiling a lot during the ceremony and made lots of direct eye contact with Father Dave, who loved it. Thank you to everyone who helped us make this a wonderful experience...we are proud parents.

All 6 kids in a pew....I was proud that I got them all together for at least 45 seconds...

Holy cow-a-bunga...I have not posted in almost 30 entire days, and the last one was just photos....I am getting to be a bit of a slacker on the blog.....Sorry folks....So, what have we been up to? Ninah is doing fantastic in school and Cecilia is living up to her devil halloween costume. Little Eli is great, he is living up to his initials, E.Z.
Rania is adjusting to being house mother of 3, making 2 seem not so hard! She is getting her body back (although, she never really lost it - aside from the baby boy in the belly!).
Rockwell is going very well for me still.....and I have been doing a few cycling (cyclocross) races over the past couple months, nothing better than paying to put your body through some good pain.
So, in traditional format, I will post photos below....most of them speak for themselves.
